  • Hi Hirotaka,
    I would not advise leaving the WDT pin floating as this could cause some unusual problems with timing.
    The actualy waveform is correct though and corresponds with our timing diagram. When WDI is held low RESET will go high. In this state the watchdog does not have a lower boundry as it is waiting for the WDI signal to come in. If it does not recieve a WDI pulse by the time the upper window times out the watchdog brings RESET low. This allows the watchdog to continously try and restart the system if there is a start-up glitch that keeps occuring, such as a race condition.
