HI

I saw a preview part TPS3421A.

Would you be able to share what is the main different between this A version and the original.

I have a customer looking for a TPS3421 with 15 sec t_timer, is there any suitable part?

    HI Ivan,

    The TPS3422 has an setting via the TS pin for 12.5s. Would this be close enough?

    How can i go about setting TPS3422 t_timer  to 12.5Sec?

    Another point i wish to check is if it is possible to further reduce the supply current for the 3422 at (active timer)?

    HI Ivan,

    Sorry, the TPS3420 has the 12.5s option with TS tied to VCC you have a nominal 12.5s timer.:

    Note the Iq, for the TPS3420 is nominally 350nA:

    the max at 85C is 1.2uA and at 125 this can be as high as 3.4uA

    The Iq you are showing is when the push buttons are pressed:

    So normally the Iq is <<1uA but when the button are pressed, it increases as we start our internal timer.
