LM98640QML-SP PGA gain computing

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM98640QML-SP

Hello everybody,

I tried to compute the optimal PGA gain for interfacing a CMOS sensor with the LM98640QML-SP.

The full range of my CMOS sensor is 1,69V, thus I was thinking that the optimal gain of the LM98640 was (As the input range of the ADC is 2V and CDS gain = 1) :

PGA gain = 2/(1*1,69) = 1,18

Could you confirm this computation ?

On the other side, I found this computation for the PGA gain :

There is a mismatch between my computation and the above formula. Please tell me the good way to work ?
