Treatment method of SENSE1 terminal

Hi

My customer will use TPS3307-33.
They haven't needed to monitor 5V (SENSE1 terminal).
But they don't have any times to replace other devises.
If they haven't used SENSE1 terminal, how should they treat SENSE1 terminal?

Best regards,
Yokota

  • Hi Yokota,

If the customer is not using the SENSE1 terminal then they would need to connect it to the proper voltage to ensure it does not cause problems with their reset conditions.

They can also use the TPS3307-25, which has a 3.3V, 2.5V, and a programmable reset voltage on SENSE3. Then they could tie the SENSE1 and SENSE2 pins together because it only has under voltage detection. This would allow them to only monitor the 3.3V rail and the user defined rail with out an issue.

    Best Regards,
