Hello,

I need to monitor 3.3V voltage but the IO standard is 1.8V.

If I target to use TPS3808G33, can I use Vcc= 3.3V and /RESET pull up with 1.8V?

Hi Hariprasad,

Yes, TPS3808 is an open-drain SVS. As a result, TPS3808 the /RESET output requires a pullup resistor in order for the output to transition to a logic high output. The only limitation to the pullup voltage is that the pullup should not exceed 6.5V.

Thank you for your quick response.

Also, in one more application, VCC is 3.3V. Can I provide 5V to SENSE pin. I believe it is possible.

In the datasheet, 0<VSENSE<6.5

HI Hariprasad,

Yes. Sense is divided down internally as the internal comparator uses a 0.4V reference. So you should be able to monitor 5V, but power with 3.3V and pullup the Reset output to 1.8V.

I will go with VCC = 3.3V,Pull up to reset is 1.8V, VSENSE = 5V.
