TPS3808: Lowest VDD to Maintain Reset State

Part Number: TPS3808

Hello,

What's the lowest VDD voltage of TPS3808-Q1 to maintain Low /RESET output when the VDD is going down? Is it the same as VPOR (power-up reset voltage)? In the circuit, the pins of VDD and SENSE are tied together.

Best regards,
Shinichi Yokota

  • Shinichi Yokota,

if VDD is going down, the device will reset at Vit (Negative-going input threshold accuracy). It will remain active as long as VDD is in the recommended operating range 1.8V to 6.5V. When the device is powered-up for the first time (VDD is starting low and going up), the lowest supply voltage at which reset becomes active (transitions to the active low state) is the power-up reset voltage = 0.8V. Always recommend using the recommended operating conditions for correct operation.
