TPS3700-Q1: About OUTA output when out of recommended operating range

[Customer specification]
·Under Voltage detection of TPS3700-Q1 is not used.
·OUTA is connected to the input terminal of another IC.
(OUTA can not be Non-connected.)
·VDD is applied to INA.
·OUTA always want to output Hi.

I think that OUTA will output Hi while the INA is within the recommended operating range.
However, when INA is out of the recommended operation range, it can not be confirmed whether OUTA outputs Hi.

Q.
For example, when 6.5V is applied to INA, can OUTA guarantee Hi output?

OUTA terminal is the INA+ comparator open-drain output. The OUTA terminal is driven low when the voltage at this comparator is below (VIT+ – Vhys). The output goes high when the sense voltage returns above the respective threshold (VIT+). SO if INA+ pin is higher than the VIT+ spec (0.4V typical), then OUTA will be high. This means that according to customer schematic, if VDD > 0.4V, OUTA is high. If VDD < 0.4V, OUTA is low.

Note: even if you aren't using the undervoltage detection, OUTA is dependent on the undervoltage condition which means OUTA will be low if undervoltage is detected at INA+ input pin.

Thank you for your replay.

When VDD >0.4 V, OUTA goes High.
When VDD <0.4 V, OUTA goes low.
I understood like this.

I also want to confirm the following.

If more than 6V is applied to INTA, can OUTA guarantee High output?

Harukawa-san,

No more than 6.5V allowed on INTA pin. That is the problem with 0 ohm resistor.

Harukawa-san,

Yes. If INA is within the recommended operating range (< 6.5V) and over the Positive-going input threshold voltage (> 0.4V) then OUTA is guaranteed high.
