TPS3710-Q1: About external dimensions

Part Number: TPS3710-Q1

Hi All,

I have a question about the shape of the pin of this IC.

Please tell me the dimensions of pin 1.

Please tell me the length of A and B and the angle of theta in the figure below.

Best Regards,
Koji Hayashi

  • Koji,

I can find "A" length to be 0.5 but we do not have measurement for length "B". The pin 1 shape is only used to determine pin 1 location but when creating the layout, you can simple use the same dimensions as the other pins and pin 1 will hang over the pad length by a little but will not affect performance.

Please let me know if this understanding is clear.

  • Hi Michael-san

    Thank you for quick reply.

Although the MIN / MAX of opposite sides of A are 0.5 and 0.7,
how long is MIN / MAX in length A?

Will B be greater than or equal to 0.2?
(This question is whether the pentagon of the present shape will be trapezoidal)

  • Koji-san,

Length A has same length min/max as the other pins. Length A is 0.5 typical (0.4 min, 0.6 max).

Length B will be approx. 0.1. I know it will not be greater than 0.2 because the total width for each pin is 0.3 max, and I know length B will not be greater than half of the width.

We do not provide the dimensions of length B but I would approximate to be about 0.1

    I understood.
