TPS3808: TPS3808G09DBVR CT RESISTOR

Part Number: TPS3808

in the datasheet of TPS3808G09DBVR,there is a note that “ a resistor from 40 kΩ to 200 kΩ must be connected between ct pin and vdd , i want to know  if  i use a  10k  resistor as you see  above ,What will happen? Will this cause the system to be stuck in uboot when power on,like pic below?

And this phenomenon does not happen often, there may be once every 100 power-ups.

  • User,

By lowering the CT resistor, this raises the voltage when "low" and when you lower the resistor too much, the CT pin can not charge up via the internal current source correctly to set the appropriate delay.

We have not tested the device with all CT resistor values, but we provided a CT resistor range, 40kohm to 200kohm, to guarantee correct device operation.

I hope this helps you! Let me know if you need additional support. Thank you!
