Hi,

We are using UCD90120A in one of the project. During prototype phase we are using JTAG to program the chip. But we are trying with I2C interface from Micro processor to program the chip now. So We want to export our project file in to Program+ Data Flash HEX file. Accidently, we erased both program flash and data flash. We are getting error as shown in Export_error

"" Error during Export: Advanced features have not been enabled. FirmwareUpgradeScript export can not be run until you have enabled the Fusion GUI's advanced feature mode through the File-> preferences form"" .

When we are going to file >preferences, it is asking password for program-flash export and customer specific features.

Can you please help me regarding this?

Thanks

Srikanth

I will send the password offline via email to your FAE.

FYI, you do not have to upload Program+Data flash in the normal environment, only Data Flash. UCD90120A (and all other digital sequencers) will have the application program pre-loaded so all you have to change/modify/load is the actual user data or DFLASH. If you have accidentally wiped out PFLASH, then you will need the program firmware to reload. Let me know if that is the case.

    Hi Eric,

Thanks a lot for the quick response. Do send the password via email. We accidentally wiped out the PFLASH. We have to program it but the Fusion GUI is asking for password which i asked you.

    Regards

    Hi Eric,

One more question on the UCD90120A.

In the development stage we can program the sequencer using Fusion software and TI tool but when in production environment we want to program the sequencer through I2C of main controller. The problem here is we are powering the main controller also through sequencer enable.

In this case if we want to switch between ROM mode to program mode  i believe. In such case when we want to program the sequencer without disturbing the power we want to program this. Do you have any suggestions over this?

    Let us know.

    Thanks & Regards

    Srikanth
