UCD90xx ABS MAX on monitor pins

Please verify - the ABS max applied to any pin is -0.3 to Vcc + 0.3V. This means that there can be no voltage on the MON pins > Vcc + 0.3 while the device is not powered. Some monitoring applicaitons would have voltage present on the mon pins (perhaps through a divider) prior to Vcc being applied.

Is there some series impedance that could be applied to limit the current while Vcc is not applied and thus allow for conditions where the monitored voltage may be present prior to Vcc being applied?
