What this sustained error means?

Our UCD9081 power sequencer keep issuing the sustained errors as in the attached image.

But all the voltage rails are in the tolerance, why this sustained errors happening?

  • It appears the problem may be that there is no shutdown sequence and the UV faults are occuring whenever the power is removed from the board, i.e. the sequencer bias is sustained while the input voltage to the rails sags until the rail outputs can no longer be sustained and sequencer observes UV condition and records "fault" conditions.

    Try using the Rails/GPOs to shutdown settings to create a powerdown sequence based off of the monitored input voltage.  Assuming the sequence starts with the input rail then there would be no resequence until this voltage is valid again.
