UCD90160: Peak log flash writes

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCD90160, UCD90160A

Hello - I am curious about the frequency and conditions that the peak log inside of the UCD90160 is written to flash. I'd like to avoid implementing the brown out circuit due to the huge capacitance requirements. If I disable all flash writes and shutdown all rails via the control pin, should I expect to see any peak log flash writes after the control pin is disabled? I will have some small time between all rails dropping due to the control pin de-assertion and when VCC is lost for UCD90160. Is there any other way to signal to the part earlier that it is losing power and should stop writing to flash (a GPIO? instead of waiting for VCC to drop to ~2.9V).

Is there any other way of lowering the capacitance requirements / worst case flash programming time on the brown out circuit (turning off fault logging, etc)?

Thank you

Josh
