Reg: UDC90120A device OC fault during Power ON condition

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCD90120A

Hi,

We have been using Zynq ZC706 evaluation board from 6 months but all of a sudden the board is not working.

When we gone through the solution on "Zynq-7000 AP SoC ZC706 Evaluation Kit - Board Debug Checklist" .

We have followed the steps given there. The LEDs are not glowing on the board, after reprogramming using TI's

"Fusion Digital Power Manufacturing tool software package" we are getting error .

List of LEDs are not glowing on-board

     1. DS2

     2. DS11

     3. DS13

     4. DS15

     5. DS16

     6. DS20

     7. DS23

     8. DS24

     9. DS26

     10. DS27

Only DS22 was glowing and following error message is received after programming the UCD90120A device.

ERROR: "READ_OUT on rail#1(0.001V) was not within 5% of VOUT_COMMAND(1.000V).

We followed the steps as you mentioned in the AR 39037 from points 9 to 12.

From  "Fusion Digital Power Designer" GUI we observed the following points.

We found in status window, Rail #1 max current was 11.75A and max voltage was 1.003V.  In logged faults window, IOUT OC Fault was occurred.

Please find the attached screen shot for your reference. After clearing the faults, the VOUT for Rail#1 was ~0V. During the power on, the OC fault was occurring.

So kindly help us to go further to debug the problem
