I am using UCD9090, when I use FUSION GUI to configurate UCD9090 the first time ,It cannot find the device

Then I use the UC3xxx/UC9xxx Device GUI Tool ,I can scan the part In ROM MODE ,but it indicates the part is UCD30XX

and PKG is 64 pins, not the actual pin number 48.

and I cannot run Scipter Runner to configure UCD9090, because the Scipter Run cannot scan the device in ROM MODE

or Program Mode. So what's happened,and How to write configuration of UCD9090 when chip is in ROM MODE

Hi Zhenghu,

It looks like the PFlash checksum has been erased by accident. The ROM_MODE (D9h) command can erase the checksum. Without checksum, the device will stay in ROM mode. But when Fusion GUI is connected, it will force the device to Program mode. Please follow the attached instruction to recreate checksum.

Thanks for you reply.
The checksum caculated from the chip is 0x0054FD54, doesn't match the value 0x0035BB13 from the documnet .
And I have recreated one chip's checksum and bricked it
So What can I do then?

Hi Zhenghu,

Recreate the checksum with a mismatching checksum will brick the device, because the firmware is changed somehow.
So you need to replace the bricked device with a new one.

New device has a correct checksum, once you change the firmware, the checksum will change also, so it will mismatch.
What did you do and change the firmware, find out the reason may help to avoid the same problem.
