UCD9090: Thermal test and UCD temperature

Part Number: UCD9090

We are at the 4 Corner Thermal chamber test stage.

To measure these temperature, we pasted the thermocouple on the UCD device. We removed all the fault responses.

When we have the UCD temperature around 66deg to 68deg, its completely shuts down the rails. The chamber temperature is around 53deg.

When we allow it to cool at 58deg UCD starts functioning automatically and give out the EN lines and turning on the regulators.

But we see a broad temperature for the UCD device upto 125deg.

Would it be possible to through some thought on this to over come this?

Regards,

Felix.

How many board shows this problem?

in the other post, you mentioned that there is a reset device connected to the UCD. will that device not function well?

  • Hi Yihe,

We are facing problem with 2 Boards. Even we are suspecting that this reset might be because of the another supervisory circuit that we introduced. We haven't tested this again at the Thermal Chamber. Once we validated this, let me confirm this.

We are working on implementing the fault response features in the UCD Image.

    Felix.
