LM3880: Pulling LM3880 flag outputs to EN pin to reduce off current

Part Number: LM3880

Can the LM3880 flag outputs be pulled to the EN pin to reduce current consumption through the pullups when it is off?  The use case is the LM3880 stays powered on continuously and a uC drives the EN pin to control power to a subsystem.

When EN=Low, the Flag outputs are low.

When EN=High, the voltage to the pullups goes high with the EN signal, and the Flag outputs remain low until the sequencer releases them.  The output from the uC driving the EN signal has sufficient drive for the pullups, and its level is high enough for the Vih of the regulator enable inputs the Flag outputs drive.  Doing this should reduce the LM3880's off current to pretty much nothing.

Is there any reason this would not work?
