UCD9081: UCD9081 Power on and Power off Sequencers

Part Number: UCD9081

Hi,Ti

I'm using UC9081 to control digital circuit power sequencers.

12V is power supply.Other power rails is from 12V.

I want UC9081 to do following things:

1)Power on:12V(resistor divide to 2.7V)->0.9V->0.95V->1.8V->1.8V_IO

2)Power off:1.8V_IO->1.8V->0.95V->0.9V->12V

Is it ok?

Thank you!

  • Hello
    For the power on: yes, this can be achieved by below three ways. pickup one to fit your applicaiton.
    • Time—number of milliseconds before this rail is enabled.
    • Parent (Reg)—number of milliseconds to delay after the parent rail achieves regulation before
    enabling this rail.
    • Parent (V)—voltage at which the parent rail must be before this rail is enable

    For Power down: a different shutdown delay can be set for each rail to achieve the off sequencing.
    Thanks

  • Hi,TI

    I have another question about UCD9081.

    By reading documents about UCD9081,I have known that a TI USB to I2C adapter can configure UCD9081 by TI GUI on pc.

    Can this TI adapter be replaced by other general USB to I2C adapter ?

    Thank you!

  • You can use other I2C adapter, but the TI GUI only works with that particular adapter.
