UCD90160: JTAG and Necessary Current for monitoring

Part Number: UCD90160

Hello E2E,

Two questions:

  1. We're not able to get JTAG interface operational to the power monitor. I've only used the USB-TO-GPIO programming pod which only has PMBus and GPIO pins. Is there another programming pod for JTAG? And I'm looking to program via boundary scan (JTAG) if possible. My plan was to generate my configuration using the USB-TO_GPIO hardware, along with the Fusion application, and then program via Boundary Scan. Does that sound reasonable?
  2. I have much greater voltages than 2.5V which I need to monitor. I implemented voltage dividers to prevent a voltage greater than 2.5V going into the monitor pins. It was mentioned that the monitor pins require a minimum current to accurately monitor the applicable voltage. Is there a specification for this? For example: I need to monitor 3.3V, but will the monitor work if I used 1Kohm resistors versus 100Kohm resistors for the voltage divider? Please keep in mind that my application is not concerned with power loss, and my question is in regards to it being operational.
