Q: TPS3809I50 RESET Resistor requirement. by 1621419
Is the requirement now that you have to add a resistor to "reset not" output?
If so, what value resistor should he use? What value should I assign (R171) the Reset not output or is this 100 K is okay? Thanks.
A: TPS3809I50 RESET Resistor requirement. by 10449
Per the datasheet, the minimum requirement is Vpullup/50uA. This requirement keeps the IC from entering test mode. If they don't pull /RESET higher than VDD during startup, they don't need the resistor
More form the customer Do I still need to add resistance to the device as per the reference in other documentation? He only added R171 as per the data sheet suggested for the TPS3809.
