Q: TL7733 - Maximum CT timing capacitor value by 1506001

Hi,

I have a question about the voltage supervisor TL7733, is there a capacitance upper limit for the Ct capacitor to program the delay time?, a customer is testing the IC and has told me that he tried with small capacitors like 100 nF and the IC works correctly but when he tried with a 100 uF to get a delay time around 2 sec, the IC remains in the reset condition even when the input voltage is above the reset threshold.

There is no upper limit to the TL7733 timing capacitor value.  Can you confirm that the customer's timing capacitor leakage current is not > 70uA.  Leakage current in the capacitor will affect the timing.  Can you provide a scope picture of the CT pin with their 100nF and 100uF capacitors?  Also be sure to add some descriptive information in the subject line for the post so others have an idea of what information is in the post.
