Q: TPS3705-33D Watchdog timer operation. by 1621419
My customer is using TPS3705-33D supervisory IC. Our website claims it is a pin for pin equivalent to the Maxim DS1706SESA. Maxim's web sit also states that their part is pin for pin equivalent to this TI part. On the TPS3705-33D, when the watchdog times out, the /WDO pin goes low and stays low until a trigger is present on the WDI pin. Is this true.?
This is opposite of Maxim part, when the watchdog times out, the /WDO pin goes low for 130 ms and then back high until the watchdog times out again.
Regards,
Naser

The TPS3705 datasheet correctly describes the watchdog functionality (WDI / WDO). /WDO stays low until the system starts inputting the WDI signal properly
