Hi Team,

My customer considers to use TPS4H160-Q1 Version B and SEH, SEL, FAULT, CS pins are unused for his application.
I believe these pins are possible to be left open.
*SEH and SEL are input pin but have internal pull-down.

Is my understanding correct?

Hello, Yaita,

SEH and SEL are recommend to connect to GND directly, to enhance the decoupling capacity.

What would you do if you weren't using OUT4 pin? Tie it to GND?

Hi Joe,

If OUT4 is not being used, you can leave the pin floating. Having it tied to ground would short that output and cause an excessive current draw.

Hi Joe,

That is correct, you can leave those open-drain pins floating if they are not being used.
