TPS2115A: TPS2115A Output Drop

Hi team,

Our customer have problem about TPS2115A.

Problem:
The drop voltage when shutting off the supply of 5 V is not improved even if measures are taken with the capacitor of the data sheet.

Is the following action possible?

    IN1=5.0V -> 0V (USB unpluged)
    IN2=3.0V
    D0=Low
    D1=High -> Low

OUT Voltage should transition from 5.0 V to 3.0 V without voltage drop.

Hi Kenji,

Are you connecting the USB supply to the D1 pin and letting it drop to switch to IN2? If so, then the device is waiting for the USB supply to fully drop before switching, and this will cause the output to drop very low.

I recommend that you try D1 = low and D0 = high, then remove the IN1 supply and see what the behavior looks like. The device should automatically switch over when IN2 > IN1.
