Customer is having failures of the TPS24750. So far, 3 failures have been reported. Symptom on all three is that GATE voltage is very low. Suspect damage between GATE and VOUT as two of the failed devices measures 20K and 375K between GATE and OUT. On a known good device, this measure much greater than 1Mohms. On device which has 20K GATE to OUT, the GATE voltage only rises to 500mV. See scope shot below. Magenta trace is GATE. Yellow trace is TIMER. On device measuring 375K GATE to OUT, GATE voltage rises to a little above 2V.
Suspect transients on OUT is causing GATE voltage to exceed 30V ABS MAX. Would like to provide customer schematic via email.
