HI Sir

I saw TPS23525 datasheet have lighting 2kV note

May I know LM5050 have any document to describe how to pass 2KV lighting ?

Hi Kai Hsiao,

LM5050 alone can not protect during surge tests, need to have hot swap device with LM5050 to work.

Could you please let us know your application requirements so that we can support you better.

Nominal working voltage, load current, etc.

OK!! if we use LM5050*2 + LM5069*1
Does it can support lighting 2KV test ?
Application is Ethernet switch

Hi

For surge testing requirements as per IEC IEC61000-4-5, please refer to TI Design using LM5050 and LM5069 "www.ti.com/.../TIDA-00233".
This TI design features Surge protection (IEC61000-4-5), Short circuit protection, Over and under voltage protection, Reverse polarity protection, Miss wire and Reverse current protection.
