SM74611: Can I use this as a battery reverse polarity connection protection?

I build robots as a hobby and wanted to have a circuit just in case some one plugs the battery wronge. can I use this SM74611 as an ideal diode?

It uses external FET and you can push more power when an appropriate FET is employed.
