Thank you very much. I learnt now that the VO(MAX) SPEC of TLC59108 was meaning different from VO(MAX) SPEC of the data sheet of a standard logic product. And, I learnt that the TLC59108 is not able to using for partial power-down application. Thanks again.

Therefore, I wanted a standard flow of the register setting that became the most basic, the illumination pattern...

Greetings. A little question about using TPS65070 wLED boost block. I don`t need it in my project, so i want to turn it off. So the question is how to do it properly. Can i just left it`s legs not connected or i must connect them to ground? Best regards, Vladimir

I second the request it would be nice if there was a sample or even a script that showed how to setup things, reset using standard i2c-tools (i2cset). There must be someone in TI that has already done this to test the device, no?

Hi, I'm using a TPS61165 to drive high brightness LEDs, and I'm not sure from the datasheet how the PWM control works. I'm hoping to flash the LEDs at a low frequency (visible to the human eye, so less than 60 Hz), and vary the dimming at the same time to create an interesting display for...

You should also consider the TL4242 for currents up to 500mA or the TLC5926 for currents up to 120mA per channel. The TLC5926 has 16 output channels that can be paralleled for a total of 1.92A. See application note SLVA346 for details on how to control the IC without a uP. Another option is the TPS54160...

For stabilization you may want to do your initial testing with a very low bandwidth to eliminate unstable operation as a failure cause. Try changing the 750pF capacitor to 7.5nF, the 15pF capacitor to 150pF and the 27.4k resistor to 2.74k. This will reduce the gain of the loop by 20dB for stable...
