bqTesla100lp kit, Max distance between the TX and RX possible

Please find the attached file for my implementation.

Regarding the bqTESLA100LP low power wireless power evaluation kit.

With the EVM, the max distance I can achieve, including the plastic, is 8 to 10mm (free space).

For my design requirement, there will be a 20 to 25mm thick rubber in-between the TX and RX. I can't achieve wireless charging at that distance. What is the possible workaround? Could rubber affects the communication signals?

The bqTESLA100lp kit and related products are designed to comply with WPC standard see below link.  In this standard the max distance between RX and TX is 5.0mm.

If you are trying to design a system that is 20 to 25mm it will not comply with WPC.  At this time we are not supporting applications outside the standard.
