Hello,

I would like to add ~2ft of distance between the coil and the bq500210evm.  Can you advise how to match impedence and minimize power loss?

I also need to add an extension, Andrew.

I imagine extension capacitance and any skin effects will be of concern; Litz wire needed?

I read Tang & Sullivan's "Stranded Wire ...as Low-Cost Alternative to Litz Wire" , 2003 IEEE.  That may help.

    Anyone?

Making a twisted pair of multistrand wire will work. No special matching is needed on these frequencies.

If you have the Litz wire you can make a twisted pair from it too. Litz wire is the better choice.

    Regards,

    Vladimir
