The voltage waveform at coils of bq500412(Transmitter) and bq51020(Receiver)

Hi all,

Would you mind if we ask voltage waveforms which are at coils of bq500412(Transmitter) and bq51020(Receiver)?

Our customer asked us about  voltage waveforms which are at coils of bq500412(Transmitter) and bq51020(Receiver). But we don't have bq500412's EVM and bq51020's EVM.

We only have bq500110's EVM and bq51013's EVM, and we measured voltagewaveforms at coils using these EVM.

So, when we use bq500110's EVM and bq51013's EVM, voltage waveforms at coils(receiver and transmittr) are similar to Attachmentfiles'one , or not?

    Yes the bq500412 TX and bq51020 RX waveforms will be similar to those see on the bq500110 TX and bq51013 RX.

    The bq500110 waveform in the scope capture is at the TX coil (L2) and capacitor junction.  Both the 110 TX and bq500412 TX have similar power sections driving the TX coil, half H-Bridge.  But note that the 110 TX is a 19V input and 412 TX is a 12V input system, TX coils and resonant capacitor configurations are different.  Expect some differences.

    The bq51013 waveform in the scope capture is AC1 and AC2 input to the RX IC.  The two pins feed a full wave rectifier inside the IC, output is RECT pin.  The bq51020 will use a full wave rectifier also and output will be at RECT.  The 020 RX will use an improved synchronous rectifier to increase efficiency.  Again expect some differences.

    Hello Hirotaka,

    I am in need of the input waveforms to the coils for bq500412. Would you happen to have the exact waveforms ? 

    Or the PWM input and VSW output to and from the synchronous buck nexFET power stage (CSD97395Q4M)
