BQ500212A TID BOM – few questions about values not matching up

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ500212A, CSD25310Q2

Hi team,

I have a customer that is going through our BOM for the TIDA-00334 wireless power supply transmitter with the BQ500212A, and there are a few values that are not making sense:

http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-00334

BOM: http://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/tidrb62

Looking at page 2, these resistor line items have “values” and the “description” for them don’t match?

-R24

-R33

-R70/71/72/73

-R99

Then lastly, for the “Q1 and Q3” line item, it shows CSD25302Q2, but there is no TI product folder or datasheet on this. Is that a typo or what can we say about that particular MOSFET?

Thanks in advance for the help,

Billy

  • The errors will be corrected on the next revision to the BOM, it should be on line in early Jan.

-R24 – Value should be 48.7k ohms, but recommend Do Not Populate.
    -R33 – Value should be 243 ohms
    -R70/71/72/73 – Value should be 0 ohms
-R99 – Value should be 86.6k, but recommend Do Not Populate
    -Q1 and Q3 – CSD25302Q2 is obsolete and replaced by CSD25310Q2

NOTE: R24 and R99 support the FOD protection feature and values will need to be determined on final design. See bq500212A data sheet for more information on FOD Calibration.
  • Thanks for the detailed response Bill.

    Thanks,
    Billy
