BQ51025 EVM testing with I2C

Hello,

I`m a newbie, and I try to find some answers in the manuals, but I was not successful, or I`m not sure that I have understood everything correctly.

1.)    “The I2C interface allows system designers to implement new features such as aligning a receiver on the transmitter surface or detecting foreign objects on the receiver”[BQ51025WPC]. Is it also possible to check the loads, which the receiver modulates and manipulate them?

The reason I ask is, if I want to test an own build transmitter, if I could monitor the packets and manipulate them, I could check out the function of TX (a test tool).

2.)    To work with the I2C-Interface I need the USB to GPIO kit. Which software-tool did I need in addition, Code Composer Studio, …?

3.)    And can I do this all with the BQ51025EVM, and are there some examples for using I²C?

Thank

Tobias
