V sense connection in BQ500414?

In BQ500412, Vsense connection is after the R sense resistor( 40mOhm)

But in BQ500414Q V sense is before R sense resistor!?

Why?

We think that this has effect on the efficiency. Can you help us & tell us which one is correct?

    Both will work--Key is to get an accurate measurement of the power section voltage. This value is used for FOD calculations.

    Sensing V-in after the sense resistor and at the power section filter cap is best.  Measuring at V-in before the sense resistor will work also.  But I have seen many customers connect to the input or an area far from the power section.

    Will not have any effect on efficiency.
