BQ500215 Power Supply Voltage

Hi Everyone,

we are currently adapting the bq500215EVM in an custom design. As power supply we get a voltage between 12V and 17V. Regarding the datasheet of the bq500215, there is nowhere stated which system-input-voltage can used for generating V-Rail, besides the 12V supply voltage passed on the EVM.

Are there any limitations, beside the maximum voltage of other components, that would prevent me from using a higher system voltage than 12V?

Please refer to the BQ500215EVM user's Guide. Schematic and BOM information should be from page 7 to 11. Input voltage rating on each specific IC can be find in it's datasheet.

Thanks for your reply,
I already search the user's guide and the datasheets and regarding to them there are no parts (except the C6) that would not allow me to use higher input voltages than the stated 12V.
But are there any input voltage conditions, where the voltage at the V_rail half bridge input is to high to be properly controlled by the bq500215?
