I'm building a wireless 2-cell Li-ion battery charging system.(using bq51025EVM,bq500212AEVM and bq24105EVM)



I in any way to , that the charge has been completed should I tell to the bq500212A?


I may be send to"Charge Complete (0x01)" 

(P16-table2 of datasheet(SLUSBX7A ))


Please tell me in detail.

    Hi,

    The TS/CTRL pin has multiple functions.  In normal operation it is a temperature sense pin.  A thermistor on this pin allows the device to monitor the temperature and take appropriate actions.  In addition to that function, the host can pull the pin high to send and EPT (End Power Transfer) packet to the transmitter. This EPT would be Charge Complete as you indicated.  The bq500212A will receive that message and power down.

    The bq500212A will periodically check the bq51025 to see if the Charge Complete is still present.  Once the host is no longer forcing the TS/CTRL pin high, the EPT will not be sent and regular power transfer can restart.
