BQ51003: BQ51003 temperature monitoring tolerance

Part Number: BQ51003

Hi,

I would like to use the external temperature protection of the BQ51003 in order to protect a Li-ion battery.

Though, i see tolerances below in the datasheet:

- Bias voltage : 10%

- % Vcold 3.5%

- % Vhot 5.5%

In my calculus, in order to have a typical 55°C protection i find maximum tolerances of 46.4°C < 55.0°C < 66.8°C.

Calculus are done wit 1% external resistance and 2% NTC.

Is it correct? Is there any tricks to reduce these tolerances?

Thanks in advance,

Julien
