Yes we can provide design files but they are in PADS. It may be possible to convert to and Altium tools using an ASCII version of the files. Bill

Hello Moshe The distance of 12cm is a little far for the present WPC standard. It may be possible to transfer some power but also the receiver has to send commands back to the transmitter through load modulation. If receiver cannot communicate with the transmitter power transfer will stop. The...

Hello Lingyu Sorry you are having problems with the Gen2 kit along with the Gen1 kit. Could you look at the 19V input to the transmitter EVM. Verify that it is solid with now dips, voltage must be 19V +/- 1V. Some customers have had problem with input power supplies entering current limit during...

Hello Alexander, The CoilDis function is used to dump the coil oscillation during Analog Ping. The function is only present in BQ500110 EVM and there is no such function in BQ500210. Making changes to the resistor value will not improve the operating range. There is no provisions in both controllers...

Hi The PCB and Schematic are part of the EVM user’s guide which can be found in the bq51013EVM-725 product folder. Also in the product folder are the Gerber files for the PCB. But if you are thinking about a smaller solution the EVM would be a very rough starting point. Everything is correct...

Julian, Did you lower the input voltage for BQ500210 EVM? The 760308201 coil has only 15 turns while the original TX coil has 20. The voltage on the receiver side can be too high tripping OVP if you tune TX resoancne to 100kHz. Alternatively to lowering input volatge you may try tuning TX to lower...

Hi, Need some advise on the BQ51050B, 1) How to we determine the %Vcold and %Vhot? Also, based on the diagram, there is R1, R2, R3 and RNTC. However R2 should be fixed as 20K internally. How does the mathematics involve the R3, RNTC and R2? What about the R1? How to get the R1 and R2 value from the...
