I purchased TMS320C5505 eZdsp USB stick. It came with CCS v4.13 IDE software. I am using a newer PC with Win 10. When I launch the CCS setup file, I get "Operating System not supported" message.

The link below mentions support for CCS v4.0. Which version of CCS should I load then ?

hey laxmi..plz let me know howz ur experience with TMDX5505EZDSP. i want to buy this for the development of test and measurement instruments...can we debug it through USB connection or m going to need separate JTAG connection

The TMDX5505eZDSP has an embedded XDS510 emulator.

I loaded the latest CCS 7.4.0.00015. I get the following error. I loaded the C5500 compiler from the app store.

C55xx: GEL: Error loading file 'C:\ti\ccsv7\emulation\boards\usbstk5505\gel\usbstk5505.gel': unable to open GEL file 'C:\ti\ccsv7\emulation\boards\usbstk5505\gel\usbstk5505.gel'

I checked CCS folder and don't see the emulation folder. Which version of XDS100 emulator is present in TMS320C5505 eZdsp USB stick ?

Kanchan,
I just purchased this board for a course. Yes, it can be debugged through the USB connection. It has XDS510 and XDS100 emulators.
