What is the recommended power solution for DRA71x, DRA79x, or TDA2E-17?

There are three different recommended power solutions for the DRA71x, DRA79x, and TDA2E-17 processors.

The first configuration using TPS65917-Q1, TPS22965-Q1, and TPS51200-Q1 supports the superset DRA71x, DRA79x, or TDA2E-17 performance. The details of this configuration are listed in the TPS65919-Q1 and TPS65917-Q1 User’s Guide to Power DRA71x, DRA79x, and TDA2E-17.
The second configuration using TPS65919-Q1, TPS22965-Q1, and TPS51200-Q1 supports processor load currents up to 3A on the V_DD rail. The details of this configuration are also listed in the TPS65919-Q1 and TPS65917-Q1 User’s Guide to Power DRA71x, DRA79x, and TDA2E-17.
The third configuration using LP87332D-Q1, LP873220-Q1, TPS22965-Q1, and TPS51200-Q1 is a smaller, lower-cost solution that supports processor load currents up to 2.55A on the V_DD rail. The details of this configuration are listed in the LP87332D-Q1 and LP873220-Q1 User’s Guide to Power DRA71x, DRA79x, and TDA2E-17.

For systems requiring functional safety, the TPS65919-Q1 and TPS65917-Q1 devices comply with applicable ISO 26262 ASIl-B requirements.
