Hi,

I have made an PyQt GUI application on my PC and now I want to load it on board.

How should I do this..??

EVM - AM437X

SDK - ti-processor-sdk-linux-rt-am437x-evm-05.01.00.11-Linux-x86-Install.bin

Please share the steps to solve this successfully..

Hello Peter,

Currently, we do not support PyQT on our processor SDK. I am not familiar with the necessary packages required to run PyQT but you could refer to the following guide to install the packages in our SDK.

Thank you for your reply.

And I have noticed that PyQt requires X11 display server in this question, so I am wondering whether this version sdk(ti-processor-sdk-linux-rt-am437x-evm-05.01.00.11-Linux-x86-Install.bin) can support X11 display server.

No, unfortunately processor-sdk-05.01.00.11 cannot support X11, only processor-sdk-04.01.00.06-x11 can. If you port python-pyqt5_5.7.1 to processor-sdk-04.01.00.06-x11-config.txt you will be able to run simple PyQt GUI application in eglfs fullscreen mode, but do not expect the same performance and functionalities as on your host PC.
