Linux/AM3352: How to run x11 on AM3352 which doesn’t have SGX.

Hi TI,

We planned to build and run an application that which is based on Xlib on below mentioned platform:

We are using TI Sitara hardware with below details:
Processor: AM3352
Linux Kernel Version: 4.9.41-ge3a80a1c5c armv7l
SGX available: NO
Kernel command line: console=ttyO0,115200n8 root=PARTUUID=5281c267-02 rw rootfstype=ext4 rootwait

Generally, would like to know the procedures in starting X11 Server and run our application making use of X11.
Please support and provide the details for the same.

Hi,

Followed the steps as mentioned in section:"1.2.4. Common Variations (no SGX, X11, etc.)" of below link:

Added below in conf/local.conf file:

MACHINE_FEATURES_remove="sgx"

PACKAGECONFIG_remove="wayland-egl"

We have build SDK, but it looks that the XSGX folder is still available in rootfs.

/usr/local/XSGX

And X is available in only below path:

/usr/local/XSGX/bin/X

Does this mean that, X11 still requires SGX?

Please clarify.
