Q: I’m developing an application based on TI’s TCI6638K2K or TCI6636K2H or TCI6630K2L or 66AK2L06 family of devices and I have some questions and need some support. Can you help me? Do you have alternatives to these processors?
A: Thanks for reaching out. The parts mentioned above will have very limited support from TI. These parts will continue to be in production to support existing customers*. Please note that the TCI6638K2K, TCI6636K2H and TCI6630K2L family of devices were specifically designed for use in wireless infrastructure and wireless communication base stations, but we do have other recent processors that are designed to support a broad set of applications, and while not direct replacements for parts targeted for wireless communications basestations, we recommend evaluating the following devices(s) as potential alternatives:
