AM3359: Linux-RT vs. Linux

Hi Team

I have ported RTLINUX and LINUX on my beagle bone board, I need some help or reference code sample application by creating some threads or task process ,

so that if I run that code it demonstrates the difference between RTLINUX and LINUX, Can you please help on this

OR

Is there any simple way to know the difference by running any sample application that illustrates the RTLINUX and LINUX TASK

Thank you

Deepak R

  • Hello and thanks for your post.

I would look at the cyclictest application that is included with the SDK and well documented by the RT Linux community. It is provided by OSADL and they have many examples and some good documentation.

There is noting specific about our implementation, so any RT Linux and thread prioritization information for Linux will apply to our distribution. Thus, there are many good resources available.

I hope this is helpful to you.
