    Hi Joe,

    Thanks for your reply.

But even numbers of nyquist zone frequency band reversed ie the highest RF signal becomes the lowest IF and the lowest RF signal becomes the highest IF. How to overcome this problem in entire RF design?

    regards

    Hi Joe,

If we select band of interest fron even numbers of nyquist zone, frequency band reversed ie the highest RF signal becomes the lowest IF and the lowest RF signal becomes the highest IF. How to avoid this problem in entire RF design?

    Hello Ashwani,

There are cases where the selected IF band afer A/D conversion is spectrally reversed.  The Digital Down Converter (DDC) can select the image of the signal

to output a normal IQ representation (ie not spectrally reversed).  I have forwarded your question about mitigation of the RF/IF/DDC planning to Roland Sperlich.

If you use the Low IF - direct down conversion, or 1st or 3rd Nyquist zone IF sampling, the spectrum will not be reversed.

    Regards,

    Joe Quintal
