We are using GC5330 in our design (LTE-Remote radio heads for 2x2 MIMO), We have some confusion with the I/O sync signals of GC.
1. In the datasheet regarding SYNCA signal which is used to initalize the GC needs to be active for minimum of 4 DPD clock cycles , Does this needs to be periodic with 4 DPD clock cycles active high & low ??
Since we have only one GC5330 chip used in the design .. do we need to program SYNCB also ?
2. We have the GC5330 configuration from TI (for 2x2 mimo,20MHZ) and is been programmed from OMAPL138 and GC is interfaced to DAC3482 in word mode . (Is the configuration provided is in word/Byte mode ?)
when GC is configured ..there should be sync out (TXA0 ,pin C18,B19) to DAC along with the 16 data signals but in our design we could see GC giving out only 16 data and frame clock output to DAC but not SYNC.
But in word mode Frame clock is optinal and SYNC(TXA0 of GC) is necessary ..kindly clarify ??
