Chemical vapor deposition: parylene

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1310

We are designing a sensor for humid environments, using the CC1310, and considering how to protect its PCB from moisture intrusion. QFN and 0402 components mean that traces and vias are closely spaced. No-clean solder paste leaves some chemical residuals. Is parylene - or a similar hydrophobic organic compound applied by chemical vapor deposition - the best defense against humidity?
