Can i use "ABM8-26.000MHZ-10-1-U-T" (26 Mhz, 10ppm, 10ppm, 10pf) crystal instead of "NX3225GA-26MHZ-TI'?
ABM8-26.000MHZ-10-1-U-T has better figures than the recomended crystal.
It is quite OK to use an alternative crystal since both of the crystals proposed by TI and by you are standard ones.
However, some tests need to be performed before final implementation:
1. frequecny accuracy (surely), it is better to use spectrum analyzer + high frequency probe to detect the crystal without touching the pins of the crystal to avoid changing the load capacitance of the circuit.
2. negitve impedance comparing to the specified ESR of the crystal in the crystal datasheet, normally this ratio is better to greater than 5.
3. crystal driving power, which need to be within and dereated comparing to the crystal datasheet.
4, Thermal test, depending on the application envirament.
5. Burn-in test.
