ASCII command to read from multiple antennas

I've four RI-ANT-G02E gate antennas connected to RI-MOD-TX8A, a 4-channel multiplexer. Channel select pins CSA & CSB are connected to general I/O pins 6 & 7 of S251B reader. The reader is connected to a PS via RS232.

I'm using ASCII commands to read tags through the antennas. I used "YA" command to set the I/O ports, so that I can read from the third antenna. "J" command gave me "J0A" back indicating that the ports were set as expected. But when I send read command, the system still reads from the first antenna, while I was expecting it to read from the third antenna.

Am I missing anything here?
