I will keep this short at first. I'm new to RFID technology and would like to start creating projects and hopefully prototyping with it. I am wondering if Ti offers a RFID reader that can be used with Arduino that is close to "plug 'n' play". A better way of putting this may be does Ti offer something comparable to ID Innovations RFID readers which can be used directly with the Arduino. That is, ID Innovations just needs a power supply, ground, antenna and RX to work with the Arduino. Since I may be using more than one reader, I'm looking to cut cost a bit. Is there an IC reader that would work? Would a couple of ICs be needed to create such a thing?
For some background information, I am looking to use the 125-134kHz, LF wavelength in my design, and was looking at the TMS3705 for instance, and at first, but I am unsure if this could be used. I can get a bit more detailed, however, my first step is to get a transponder and reader set up (baby steps).
Thank you for your help,
Joe
